The ANSS Tactical Protection Unit provides elite trained PDS’s (Protective Security Details) for incidents involving problematical or complicated Government Security situations.

The ANSS Tactical Protection Unit is Australia’s leading Dignitary Protection Division, comprising of more experience in Close Personal Protection (Bodyguard) operations both nationally and internationally, than any Government or private security organisation in the country.

ANSS provides PDS’s (Protective Security Details) for the protection to a number of Australian Federal Government ministers and ministerial personnel, State Government ministers and their departmental personnel and a number of other high profile government officials when involved in  performing  public commitments.

Australian National Security Service has also provided security to Federal Government Agency personnel such as Australian Customs and Immigration Department for their protection when involved in complex international security situations.

ANSS executes high-level security to Government facilities and establishments when they have been identified as high risk threat or when a serious pending threat is imminent as well as implementing protection to internal Government personnel and staff.  ANSS also assists Government Agencies in providing ‘Support Security’ services for situations involving major Dignitary protection operations.

Dignitary Protection

ANSS provides Dignitary Protection for Dignitary identities whilst in Australia for personal and diplomatic commitments whether it is for covert or overt engagements or appointments.

ANSS currently provides Dignitary Protection for the protection of Ambassadors and Consular officials when they are required to attend diplomatic commitments and public functions around the country. ANSS provides protection to visiting international Government officials, visiting Diplomats, Dignitaries, Religious leaders and members of international royal familles, in particular when covert protection is essential for secrecy away from the media and public eye.

ANSS also provides Dignitary Protection to Dignitaries travelling to high risk countries and also assists international Governments when there is a requirement for high level security protection of visiting VIP’s and Dignitaries.

The ANSS Special Operations Unit and Tactical Protection Unit has also been responsible for the Dignitary Protection to a number of important international VIPs whilst travelling internationally such as US State Department Diplomats, United Nations representatives, members of the Bahrain Royal family, and the United Nations Secretary Coffee Annan. ANSS has also provided covert Close Personal Protection to a number of Australian Government personnel when they have been required to travel overseas for private and personal commitments.

The ANSS Tactical Protection Unit is specifically requested to engage in this service as it is comprised entirely of specialist-trained Special Operations personnel with certified high-level security training. All operatives are fully vetted and encompass specialist backgrounds from a number of the world’s most elite security and protection organisations, being Government agencies, military Special Forces, Tactical Law Enforcement and private specialist high-level Security Agencies. All operatives have been strategically selected based on their elite skills and expertise in dealing in high-risk and high-level security operations.
