InvestigationsANSS performs the gathering of Intelligence relating to difficult and complex investigations which involve intricate and covert investigative measures. ANSS utilises some of the countries leading and most experienced operatives from former Government Agencies, Law Enforcement and renowned Defence organisations of whom are specialists in the area of investigations and Intelligence gathering. ANSS performs detailed meticulous investigations for corporations, governments, organisations and individuals for circumstances when only the most precise and professional investigation methods and procedures are required. ANSS undertakes a number of investigations for a large diversity of clients. We assist lawyers in gathering intelligence for major criminal cases and prosecutions. We assist governments in investigating matters concerning improper procedures by their departments and personnel. We provide investigations for major corporations gathering intelligence information regarding corporate and insurance fraud, corporate espionage, employee corruption and corporate fraudulent activities. ANSS also performs investigations concerning cheating spouses and partners engaging in investigations and covert surveillance operations.
ANSS has a number of Investigative units comprising of: Legal investigators (LIU- Legal Investigations Unit) – The LIU assists in preparing criminal defenses and prosecutions, locating witnesses, serving legal documents, interviewing prospective witnesses, and gathering and reviewing evidence. The LIU gather intelligence for complex legal cases where the obtaining of critical information is problematical and complicated. ANSS Legal Investigators also collect information on the parties to the litigation, performs covert surveillance, testify in court, and assemble evidence and reports for trials. The ANSS LUI currently performs services for some of Australia’s largest legal firms conducting services across Australia and around the world.
Government Investigators (GIU- Government Investigations Unit) – These highly experienced Investigators involve themselves in investigative and surveillance operations concerning Governments and their departments, Government personnel, Government Agencies as well as performing investigations into specific government investigation departments and agencies. The GIU also performs investigations into Government Departments and their personnel concerning the theft of critical Secret, Top Secret, and Classified information which could be stolen used to threaten Australia’s National Security.
Corporate investigators (Corporate Investigations Unit - CIU) – The CUI conduct internal and external investigations for corporations. The CIU investigates such incidents such as fraud, corporate espionage, employee corruption and corporate fraudulent activities. They investigate drug use in the workplace, ensure that expense accounts are not abused, and determine whether employees are stealing confidential information or technology. Our external investigations procedures attempt to thwart criminal schemes from outside a corporation, such as fraudulent billing by a supplier, Electronic Bugging, technology theft and blackmail attempts.
Family Investigators – who perform surveillance and investigations into the action of spouses and family members. This can include cheating spouses, family member surveillance and breaches involving other improper actions. They also investigate incidences concerning matters involving the Family Court and DOCS including child custody and breaches of Violence Restraining Orders.
Computer forensic investigators - who specialise in recovering, analyzing, and presenting data from computers for use in investigations or as evidence. They determine the details of intrusions into computer systems, recover data from encrypted or erased files, and recover e-mails and deleted passwords.
Financial investigators – who develop confidential financial profiles of individuals or companies that are prospective parties to large financial transactions. A number of our financial investigators are or have been certified public accountants (CPAs) who work closely with investment bankers and other accountants. Our Financial Investigators specialize in searching for assets in order to recover damages awarded by a court in fraud and theft cases.
